Raisa found herself in a critical situation. She arrived at our office immediately after the hospital, where she spent about a month and underwent surgery.
Raisa sold her only apartment and lost all her savings due to scammers, to whom she voluntarily transferred the money. She contacted the police, but they refused to initiate criminal proceedings.
In 2017, Raisa returned from Greece, where she had lived for about 15 years. Despite her age and lack of prospects, she decided to return home. Raisa arrived her home, which was a room in a three-room apartment. However, living with neighbors and being far from the subway turned out to be too hard for her. Therefore, she decided to sell her room to a neighbor, and transfer the money received to a company that positioned itself as an investment fund and promised to invest it to receive interest based on the agreement.
Raisa planned to buy a studio apartment next to the metro in a year. However, the above-mentioned investment fund eventually ceased to exist, the office got closed, and the phone was no longer answered. Raisa fell ill and lost her salary, so she had nothing to pay for rented housing.
What has been done:
At the first meeting with the client, we discussed the circumstances of Raisa's life. She was ill, could not pay for rented housing, and she had no close relatives, except for a few friends. The woman needed urgent social support.
The lawyer advised the client about her rights and social guarantees provided by the state. Then we drew up a detailed action plan for the client.
Under the guidance of a lawyer, the client received the status of a homeless person. After that, we helped her to interact with the authorities (to contact the administration at her last place of residence and registration). The reason for the appeal was the refusal of the police to initiate criminal proceedings on the fact of fraud. In addition, the client took advantage of the social guarantees provided for by the Constitution.
Result:
The principal has concluded a social rent agreement with the administration of the district. This happened two months after her first meeting with representatives of Key solution LLC in our office. The principal also received financial support from the regional budget
